EAA 292 Fly-In and Van’s Homecoming

My friend Larry texted me to see if I was coming out to the conference in Hood River. I replied that I was, and that my wife and I were headed out a few days early to take in the sights. He invited me down to his EAA Chapter 292 Fly-In on Saturday. So we decided to drive the couple of hours from Hood River to Independence to see what was up.

The fly in was terrific, with lots of aircraft, and we had a good time. Talking to Larry he suggested Silver Falls State Park for another stop while we were in the area.
